The title of one of O'conner's novels is" The violent bear it away" . I wan to know is here 'the violent' a noun that has came with 'The' ? And then why here the verb 'bear' is not in third person form? O'conner had taken this title from the bible that it's full verse is : "From the days of John the Baptist until now, the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent bear it away." Matthew 11:12. Please guide me Thank you
