Does "the officer" part of this sentence sound good and correct? I want to clearly identify and explain that Guiyar is an officer. The new leadership of the Dark Knights was pleased to see a warrior return with a dragon, and for Sara’s experience she was made the officer Guiyar Massard’s second-in-command of the Sixth Talon.
