Hello, I know that in all of these sentences present perfect is common, but is it also possible to use simple past? Have you seen Ann today? Did you see Ann today? She (lived/has lived) in seven different countries, so she knows a lot about different cultures. Have you seen The King's Speech'? Did you see The King's Speech? John has never understood the present perfect. /never understood He has been / was here all morning. Thanks
