Despite Comma?

He was angry at him despite the fact that it wasn't his fault. I don't think there is need for a comma before "despite," right? I mean, it would be a stylistic thing to use it, whereas, if the sentence started off with "Despite the fact that it wasn't his fault," THEN a comma would be needed. Thanks.
